There are two upcoming technology-focused teaching and learning events, both based at ANU.

EdTechPosium

Monday 28 & Tuesday 29 October 2019

EdTechPosium (formally MoodlePosium) is an educational technology conference held annually in Canberra. It has been running for over ten years and draws in EdTech enthusiasts from all over Australia to share, network, collaborate, and learn new ideas about enhancing education through technology.

EdTechPosium has participants from all sectors, including schools, government, private training providers, libraries, museums, galleries, vocational education, and higher education. This year it is hosted by ANU and will take place at the Crawford School of Public Policy. It will be centred around the theme of ‘Place, Purpose, Possibility’.

EdTechPosium has six keynote speakers, including Professor Peter Radoll from the University of Canberra, Dr Chie Adachi from Deakin University, and Martin Dougimas, CEO and founder of Moodle: https://edtechposium.net.au/keynote-speakers/ .

TELFest

Tuesday 19 & Wednesday 20 November, 2019

TELFest is an event offered by ANU Online. It is for all staff who contribute to teaching, including academic staff, tutors, demonstrators, and professional staff in education support roles. It is an opportunity to connect with colleagues to discuss your teaching practices, learn about new approaches and techniques, and debate key issues in technology-enhanced learning. It will take place in the Hedley Bull Building.
